She died suddenly with Thyroid Cancer (Ana Plastic) 8/05

I was unfortunately diagnosed with Colon Cancer Stage III on 11/06, had major surgery and I am a Cancer Survivor.

VERY PROUD of my PORTUGUESE family... I was born in Paramos, my parents immigrated to "America" in Port of Miami in 1962 with my 5 siblings, to give us a better life style but we always maintained our PORTUGUESE traditions and spoke PORTUGUESE at home! We finally settled in Artesia, California in the later years... My father was President of Nossa Senhora de Fatima in Artesia D.E.S. Portuguese Club and my mom was very loved with the entire Portuguese community "Senhora Amelia" she organized many bus trips to Laughlin and Las Vegas, they all loved her...

This Cancer is a horrible monster, if you know anyone with such decease, give them your heart 24/7 because it's not easy living with this shadow... Just let them know you LOVE them with just a simple "Smile, Hug" that's all it takes to give someone that extra strength to survive in their hearts!

Well, I am not too bright with the internet but I will try my best and looking forward to meeting new friends also.
